and two more makes...

23 pattern repeats!

I know this round seems to be taking forever, but I really don't mind. I just keep thinking about how beautiful the finished piece will be!

I'm really enjoying making these headbands. Luckily, I have four granddaughters who just might be interested in having headbands to go with every outfit!

  2. That doily is a good antidote to the idea that everything must be completed as quickly as possible! I read about a knitter once who said she used small needles and fine wool to prolong the pleasure of knitting, and that changed my outlook somewhat.

    1. When it comes to yarn and thread, I agree with that knitter! Also, I feel more elegant using finer yarns and threads... silly, isn't it? :-)

    2. it's the same with my embroidery. I like slow stitching to extend the pleasure of creating something special for someone. I do mindful embroidery= keeping my thoughts on the recipient and adding love and good wishes in every stitch.
